Frequently Asked Questions

What are the accounting and financial backgrounds of
HollandParker team members?

The majority of the HollandParker team comes from a solid foundation in finance and accounting. Approximately 70% of our consultants have a combination of relevant degrees and significant experience in the following areas:

Public Accounting: Auditing financial records and practices.
Corporate Accounting: Financial close processes, consolidations, and both public and private company reporting.
Corporate Finance: Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Management and Technology Consulting: Providing strategic advice and implementing technological solutions.
Project Management: Ensuring successful execution of projects.

Our team’s expertise spans a variety of company sizes, from Fortune 500 corporations to smaller private companies with revenues exceeding $250 million.

This diverse background allows us to effectively teach our business-focused clients how to best leverage CPM technologies.

While the majority of our team members have developed their technical capabilities through on-the-job experience, those joining us with existing technical backgrounds often possess degrees and experience in information technology (IT).

A core technical proficiency across our team is strong SQL skills. This is essential for successful data integration into your chosen platform.

We place a strong emphasis on cross-training. Our IT-focused team members are actively developing business skills, which allows them to bridge the gap between technical solutions and core business needs. Additionally, all team members receive training in consulting best practices to ensure exceptional client service.

Yes.

Yes. HollandParker is currently an official partner of OneStream and Incorta. However, we work in the best interest of our clients, regardless of which technology products they decide to implement.

Your concern is valid, though it is misplaced. While our partnerships do not influence our recommendations, our experience does. We chose to partner with OneStream and Incorta because we have done the homework you won’t have to. We have designed, planned, implemented, supported, and re-designed CPM and DnA systems based on Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, and other platforms. And we recommend OneStream and Incorta because we have found them to be superior to other platforms available.

That said, we take our responsibility to our clients’ best interests very seriously. If we discover another platform will better serve a client’s business, (e.g. OneStream has AI and Machine Learning capabilities for advanced analytics, but we continue to find Incorta to be a superior option.) we will recommend it, create the transition Finance Transformation Strategy + Roadmap, and introduce the client to other partners that can implement it for them.

Yes.

Stop the guesswork. Start transforming
finance with confidence.
