Building to the ‘Top’ with OneStream: HFM Replacement Story

Now Was the Time to Join HollandParker

In the words of Arthur Forbus, the market for Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions is at an inflection point. The old guard is fading with Oracle and SAP stumbling with their Cloud strategies, particularly in the CPM solution area. Now, OneStream is grabbing significant market share and credibility with CFOs and CIOs of Global 1000 enterprises.

With the current market conditions in mind, we asked Mr. Forbus to further explain why now was the right time to join our CPM consulting firm.

Why did you join HollandParker?

Mr. Forbus: I saw an opportunity to help HollandParker grow and scale in the CPM market. Prior to joining the firm, I worked with the HollandParker team on several OneStream projects. I grew to respect and admire the firm’s understanding of how to execute CPM project delivery on a global scale.

I have known Philip Parker for 15+ years and recognized that his team of consultants have a real depth of knowledge about OneStream. Now, I look forward to leveraging my experience on this side of the table elevating our firm’s project delivery, sales and marketing capabilities for global organizations.

As a Diamond Partner with OneStream, we are well-positioned to leverage our 100% reference-ability of our clients and deep technical and business acumen to drive significant value for new or existing OneStream customers.

Describe your expertise in the CPM market and experience with OneStream Software.

Mr. Forbus: I have more than 30 years experience in the CPM market including working with two Fortune 500 companies where I evaluated, selected, and implemented Hyperion Software. I also worked in consulting and services management with Hyperion for 6 years.

I then joined a small Hyperion consulting shop, where I built the sales and marketing functions. Through this effort, I helped grow the company eight-fold over a 6-year period which included being acquired by a large publicly-held consulting firm.

Most recently I spent 12+ years with Alvarez & Marsal, leading the regional CFO Services practice including driving significant strategy and process transformation alongside CPM solution implementations such as Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream, and other technologies.

How do you envision helping HollandParker grow in your role?

Mr. Forbus: In this role, I envision enhancing process, structure, and governance to enable HollandParker to scale quickly the existing OneStream business. I also envision adding on transformational services to the traditional OneStream projects while maintaining focus on our 100% client reference-ability.

Company culture is also important to me. I look forward to supporting a culture of the “infinite game” and “love what you do in the service of those who love what you do” to drive even greater client satisfaction, employee enablement and purpose at HollandParker.

An Exciting Period of Growth for HollandParker

In the first two months of 2020, our CPM consulting firm was elevated to Diamond OneStream Implementation partner, launched a spectacular new website, hired Dan Vollmer as Director of Sales and Marketing, and hired Arthur Forbus as Managing Director & COO.
This is just the start of an exciting year of growth for our CPM consulting firm. We would appreciate the opportunity to introduce Mr. Forbus to you and your team as you consider migrating to the OneStream XF platform as your CPM solution. Contact us today to schedule a call with our team.
